There is no one right answer, but hopefully I can provide you with a better context to work in.
First off, its important to distinguish between simple failure of ‘bite inhibition’ and agressive biting. My guess is the former in your case is probably more relevant, so that is where I’ll focus. Dogs use their mouths much like we use our hands. For evidence, just watch two dogs playing at a dog back. If not taught properly, this can lead to some nastry scratches on their human friends.
The ‘typical’ advice here is to yelp when ever the dog’s teeth touch you (so that the dog knows he’s hurt you). I’ve had limited success with this method. I find its far too easy for it to turn in to a game.
An alternate method, is that something ‘uncomfortable’ needs to happen when ever the pups teeth come near you (to directly discourage the behaviour). This would be something like your hand wedging their mouth open to the point where its uncomfortable. (not hurting though). I’ve had a lot of success with this method, and it seems to come more naturally to a lot of people.
Lastly, you can teach an incompatible behavior. This works particularly well when its a super happy bouncy dog coming up to you, that doesn’t have full control of his biting. This is something like teaching "Go get a toy" when ever they come up to visit.
Agressive or fear biting is a whole different story.
our dog did that, so pretend to be a dog and yelp like one and she will realize she’s hurting you it worked with me
best of luck
muzzle it before it hurts some one badly then take it to dog training class to teach it obediance or as a last resort rehome it
Don’t muzzle it! Poor thing! When she bites, scold her and when she doesn’t and just licks your hand and such, praise her and she will eventually get the hang of it. It’s just a phase dogs go through. No big deal.
Maybe she thinks, that SHE’S the boss, but it’s not her. You have to show her, who has the saying.
If she hurts somebody, really shout at her. This sounds really bad, but if she really does bite, you have to shout at her once. Maybe tap on her moth. This really doesn’t hurt her, I promise.
And buy her some toys to play and bite on. And a chewing bone. Every dog needs a chewing bone, they just need that.
Private trainers can help. Call your vet and ask about reputable trainers in your area.
Is it play biting or aggressive biting? There is a difference.

is the dog play biting? or attacking?
play biting is easy to fix, if you push the dog away they think you are playing and continue to do it . if he bites simply turn around and ignore him. maybe add a little yelp. dogs learn by yelping that they are hurting what ever is yellping and usually stop.
but if the dog is attacking take him to a profession trainer because that is a much more serious issue
Now I know this isn’t necessarily the "Technical" thing to do but i got my papaws dog to stop biting me (she wasn’t playing either)
She would always bite me and i’d say "NO!"
And it would never work.
So i tried popping her in the nose and yell NO..
It never worked so one day i grabbed her by the ear and their ear are sensitive so don’t pull..
And she couldn’t move because it hurt her and i put my hand on her neck so she wouldn’t Longue at me and yelled NO! right in her face and she hasn’t ever bitten me Sense..
It worked for me i don’t know about anyone else..
Don’t hurt her just let them know you boss..
