Amazing Dog Does the Laundry, GREAT TRICK!
Crash learned how to do the laundry in 6 minutes, better than most people, er should I say most guys! 
I am not giving Crash any verbal or non-verbal cues other than saying do the laundry to start the chain of behaviors. I know he looks at me a lot but it is just how he works through the behaviors. I taught this behavior using shaping, I could have easily asked him to pick it up and drop it in the machine but it was so much more fun to watch him learn and think!!! wow, clicker training has worked well for you. My lab is 2 years old. Maybe .I will try it. How do you ween off of the clicker.

Great question.
Very easily! It is just for the initial training process, at least for me it is. Once the dog knows the behavior and is doing it reliably you don’t need it anymore. It is just a training/communication tool. So once Crash is doing the laundry behavior successfully I will stop with the clicker. Now if he messes up or seems to forget the behavior chain I can go back with the clicker and re-teach it.

I wish Freddy and Osca would do the laundry for me. Their good at making laundry, but they’ve not learnt to do the laundry ‘yet’. lol

you clicked a little too early with the clicker…
Depends….You may want to click when the sock touches the washer and I may be clicking for head turning towards the washer with the sock in mouth. It all depends on what the trainer is wanting to pinpoint.
That was ana amzing trick, I have never seen anything like it!
