I have a lab mix, who has never been around toddlers or young children.
I have friend who’ve brought their 3 and 5 yr old and "Bear’s" behavior was like he was scared of them. He didn’t do them any harm, he just ran in circles and if the child made a swift movement he would bound away. I just want to make sure I do all I can to eliminate the possiblility of him hurting anyone.
Any training suggestions?
I have decided to put him on a lead when he is around younger children.

I have a 10 wk old puppy that is about 2 pounds (maltese/poodle/shih tzu). We’ve had her for about a week and we are training her on pee pads, but she is not doing very well. We would like her to go outside with our golden retriever, but I think its too cold (It’s winter in Michigan and the temps range from 0 to 20 degrees F). Is it too cold to let her outside for approx 5 minutes to try and get her trained? She shivers after a minute or two, but she wants to be outside. If so, please give me tips to training inside the house until the weather breaks. Our golden retriever was trained within a week, so we’re a little disappointed that this new puppy is not catching on. She goes pee on the pee pad if we catch her sniffing and place her on it, but she does not go on it voluntarily and she never poops on it.

I have a 10 week old Labrador Retriever. I was wondering when I could put K9 Advantix on him.

Ok, so I have a black lab, female puppy. She is 4 months old and i’ve had her for 2 months. I’m just realising now how UNBEHAVED she is. When on walks, she chokes herself and almost pulls your arm off trying to pull, she grabs things in her mouth and runs with them for us to chase her, she gets up on tables and jumps on other animals and everything is a mess. So my question is, how can I diciplinne her and turn her into mans best friend?
thanks so much guys, xx

I got my golden retriever when he was 8 months old. He had gone through basic training, and he is now 16 months old. I noticed recently when I played with him outside and we’re running around the backyard, he will chase me and when he catches me he will jump on me and start biting at my clothes, often ripping holes in them. Then he proceeds to bite my pants, although I stop him before that gets too extreme. How do I stop him from continuing this behavior?
