www.dogcollartrainingjustright.com Lab dog trianing how to collar train your dog for obedience at home. Stella, a chocolate lab used to have behavior that was undesirable from jumping, barking, not coming when called, pulling on the leash, and even worse growling at dogs. Labradors are working dogs and like to have a job, they like training and our chocolate lab Stella took to collar training like a super star… as do all the dogs who learn the remote collar method you see Stella using in this video. Train your dog at home for obedience, manners, and for all the behaviors you have been looking for in a good dog.. be like Stella…
Should she sleep in the crate, or should we take her bed out of her crate and bring it in our bedroom with us (I’ve read that dogs are pack animals and should sleep with their pack)? At what times do we tell her to go in her crate (other than when we’re gone)? Should we banish her to her crate when she is bad, or should it be viewed as a positive place?
Do you think it would be less likely to run away than a full husky?
I mean less likely to run away if someone opened the door..or better on an off leash hike or something.
1) Would that be a good choice? Meaning, would a Lab make a good watchdog.
2) How do I start training her? (What should I do I.E. research-wise or what people I should talk too)
3) Any suggestions a type of literature or a site to use?
4) Any suggestions.
THANK YOU!
Oh, and my lab(black) is currently almost 5 months old, I’m guessing it’s not too late to train her to do that…
Hi there, I just got a new puppy (2 days now) He’s 10 weeks old.
When I got him it seemed like he was stuck in a cage all day with his brothers, so he wasn’t house trained.
And as expected he is urinating and shitting all over the place without any sign of warning.
How should I train him to go next to the door when he needs to go? I understand this will take time but I’m not sure how anyway, so anything could help, thank you!
wen i give a small spanking to stop her she bites me again.i will give her something to chew on,after chewing it for sometime she again comes to bite me i don’t know what to do.please help .i also want to teach her some tricks
ive already sold them on being responsible and training the dog but they need proof that its the right dog for us, what i need is some pros and cons from current or past lab owners to prove that its the Right choice. thanks, ps i was looking for a chocolate lab if it makes any real difference.
