Okay, I have a year old labrador, pit-bull, probably-something-else mix from the shelter. For the life of me, I can’t train this dog. I’ve tried for 2 months with stopping every time he pulls on the leash and telling him no. Our other lab is leash trained, but Saxon doesn’t seem to get the hint from watching him either. He’s a smart dog, potty trained in 3 days (probably had prior training). The only time he ever walked next to me was when he tripped me up and I yelled at him. Any advice, thanks.
I would like to get my dog certified to be able to go and visit nursing homes. He is very gentle golden retriever/huskie mix. He is 4 years old, listens well. What do i need to do to get him certifed to go and visit homes??? thanks! What do i need to do?

Hi, i got a Dog yesterday and the person said its really a Retriever ( Labrador) but he has not the 3 colors of a Labrador, which are, Yellow, black and Chocolate, but he’s brother is fully BLACK.He is Brown with Marks. Is this possible or this is a mixed or not a Labrador ? Can somebody help me? Thank you!
I have a golden retriever and he is going to be nine months old soon. He is a very loyal dog and very well behaved when we are home. We never really crate trained him from day one and i know that is wrong and we have a crate and all. He never pottys in the house and rarely every did when he was younger. We would let him alone for 8 hours at the most while we were at work and no mess at all. However within the past week or two he has been chewing all of our shoes up and even tore the carpet up. However i have a halloween ornaments on a coffee table (well in reach) and plants that he doesnt touch. He is very spoiled, i take him everwhere and spend alot of time with him. He even sleeps with my wife and i. I think it might be seperation anxiety but i dont know. Should i start crate training him? Is it too late? Or should i try leaving the radio or tv on while im not home and leave him out all day? Please help, Thank You
