I have recently moved into a house that has two dogs, one being a crazy golden retriever. The owner has said to me that the dog only eats once a day, but I have my doubts, because everytime I turn around the dog has something in its mouth. Does the dog just have some sort of oral fixation? Or is it starving? Apart from poor training obviously, should the dog be eating more than one can of dog food at night?

I love our labrador very very much, just want to change a couple things: teach him to heel when walking and stop eating food off the counter. Im afraid training will transform him into a ‘robot’.

We are getting a lab/pit mix puppy that will be about 10 weeks old in March… I am a little worried about how difficult it will be to train them. Does anyone have any experience or advice to give?
