This Black Lab never could learn to hunt because she was just too refined!
okay I take him out the same door every time which is the sliding door in my living room going out to my yard. I’ve only had him for a day and hes been going by the door and when i take him out he won’t pee nor poo any ideas on how to take him out and have him go right away and also any other potty training techniques?
I did not want to wait for five years for the free dogs that some organizations offer visually impaired people. I want to know if there are any personal trainers or companies that would train your own dog to become a service/guide dog.
I’m going to get the "pick of the litter" of Lab Pups. I wanna train this dog to hunt pheasants and other birds. Should I pick a male or female? Any other advice on how to turn this pup into a hunting machine?
My dad was home alone with our dog and he fed him a chips ahoy chocolate chip cookie. I know that chocolate is bad for dogs and I got so furious when I found out. I’m scared that my labrador puppy will die. I don’t want him too and I’m crying. What can I do and how can I tell if he got affected?

My Lab pup continually sniffs and I find it really irritating. I know that dogs use their nose to find their way around but their eyes and ears work perfectly well without this sniffing nonsense.
Can anyone offer me any advice as I’m at the end of my tether?
My dog is 8 months and pretty much sniffs constantly. It is mostly when I’m eating Indian takeaways and takeaway pizzas (5-6 times a week).
The reason it is so irritating is because I buy him a high quality dog food called Chappie and he needs to learn that my food is mine and his is his.
How should I teach my golden retriever to growl or bark when told to without using any violence against her? And how old should she be? Do you think exactly the day you bought the dog, you should teach her with the house rules even though its still young? lets say about 3 months old? And if it tries to bite things including my hand even though it doesnt hurt should I just tell her No? And lastly, is a Golden Retriever advisable to be my pet even though im still 14?
I want to teach her growl because I think its cool
I dont wanna teach my golden retriever how to growl by hurting her, is it possible to teach her to growl without using physical violence or hurting her? Because Im afraid that she might go uncontrollable someday >,<
