Six days after first being introduced to the treadmill, which I keep in my bedroom, Carmen the Black Lab, a 7-year old, 85 lb.-beauty, has gotten to the point where she hops on the treadmill three or four times a day just for something to DO. It’s been icy and rainy out this week and she isn’t getting her usual outdoor walks. When the weather’s good, out we go, but even if she does get her walks during the day she loves to go on the treadmill before bed, right after I take my turn in the morning, or any time I invite her on board. Today she did over a mile. Cesar Millan would be proud!

I want to train her to sit, stay and retrieve and be a inside dog. Help me someone.

Yeah, this dog is a yellow purebred labrador retriever puppy with a brown nose and green eyes. it’s a male. and it was in the animal shelter about 5-6 months ago. please if you happen to know this dog, please tell me. thanks!

I just bought a golden retriever and I want to train her to do some tricks. Is it difficult?Where can I find sites that would teach me on dog training. Thanks.

how do you get your 4 month old Labrador Retriever to retrieve!? haha i’ve been trying aimlessly and i want to hear answers that have worked. thanks

I am getting a new lab – he’s 5 weeks now. I have trained a few of my dogs in the past with easy things like shake, play dead, heal, roll-over, etc. With the lab, I would like to train him to be a gun dog for hunting. What is a good way to train him for reacting to gun fire? Is there a test other than shooting around him to get him used to it? Is there a good book to recommend? Thanks!
I don’t have him yet, and will wait until he is around 8 weeks old so he can have more time to socialize with his littermates (9 of them).

i recently bought a labrador retreiver puppy and hes good with childrena nd very playful but now and then he chews things but not just chewing he bites down hard and those things happen to be my arms, my legs, my ankles, my toes. i cant get him to stop and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions
