Buddy (Yellow Lab) completed the Neuman K-9 Academy Obedience trainingcamp for dogs. This program covered obedience commands to sit, stay, down, heel, come when called (off-leash),and general etiquette like waiting at doors until released and no jumping up. Crash learned how to do the laundry in 6 minutes, better than most people, er should I say most guys! I am not giving Crash any verbal or non-verbal cues other than saying do the laundry to start the chain of behaviors. I know he looks at me a lot but it is just how he works through the behaviors. I taught this behavior using shaping, I could have easily asked him to pick it up and drop it in the machine but it was so much more fun to watch him learn and think!!!
